Create your own Christmas ornament using resin
Why Resin is the Perfect Material for Creating Christmas Ornaments
One of the best parts of celebrating Christmas is putting up ornaments. For some, the treasured decor pieces tell a lot about childhood. The stick houses, the handprints, the paper and cotton balls snowmen; they all make your Christmas quite memorable.
If you’re looking to go simple with your décor this year, then you can try out resins. With resin, you can make customized Christmas ornaments that’ll serve you a long time.

Step 1: Get your materials ready
The very first thing to do is prepare your materials. Then you choose a suitable location such as the garage or an outdoor space and ensure ventilation.
Step 2: Mix Resin
Following the guide attached to your box, mix resin in the appropriate quantities and prepare to style.
Step 3: Pour Molds of Ornaments
Slowly pour out the resin blend into silicone molds till they are nearly full.
Step 4: Bring on Decor
Now you can add décor such as sprigs of artificial greenery onto your resin.
Step 5: Add Resin
After about four hours — when the molds must have been completely dried, mix another round of hardener and resin, following the same method as in the steps above.
Pour over the mix till the mold gets nearly filled. Then use a heat gun to eliminate bubbles.
Once the bubbles are gone, allow the molds to cure for about a day or two.
Step 6: Finally….Drill Holes
Now is the time to drill holes. Get a power drill and finish the thread and hole (using your stylish ribbon) to hang up your piece.
